The cosmopolitan, a 90s favorite, meets the 50s classic ginger ale punch in this tasty mash-up. A gorgeous frozen fruit ring keeps the punch cold long into the night. If you can’t find fresh cranberries, frozen will work as well.

Ingredients
- 2 limes, sliced
- 2 oranges, sliced
- 1/2 cup whole fresh cranberries
- Two 60-ounce bottles cranberry juice
- 2 cups orange juice
- 4 cups vodka
- 2 cups triple sec, such as Cointreau
- One 2-liter bottle ginger ale
Instructions
- Place the lime and orange slices in a large ring mold, layering the slices alternately and sprinkling the cranberries in between each layer. Mix together 3/4 cup each cranberry juice, orange juice and water. Pour the juice mix over the sliced fruit. Freeze until firm, about 6 hours.
- Mix the remaining cranberry and orange juices with the vodka and orange liqueur in a punch bowl. Just before serving add the ginger ale. Unmold the ice ring and float in the punch. Serve over ice in rocks glasses.

can i add strawberry instead of cranberry?
I agree that the amount of cranberry was too much. I think it’s off by a factor of about 10. I readjusted the recipe as follows and feel it’s pretty good. Two parts vodka, one part triple sec, one part orange juice, one part cranberry juice and one to two parts ginger ale.
It was way to strong on the cranberry juice. Sorry was a disappointment for our NYE party.
Made this punch for New Years Eve. Was a hit! Delicious!
