Reviews
The Manhattan is, by far, my most favorite cocktail. This is the recipe I use all the time. It almost doesn’t matter what bottle of rye I use, it is great. The magic is the cherry bitters and I use literally 2 drops of absinthe which I put in a two ounce bottle with a dropper. I tried 1 drop…not enough. I tried 3 and it was too much. 2 was perfect. I LOVE THIS.COCKTAIL!
So perfect!
Delish! I was surprised at the addition of absinthe, but it gives the cocktail a very nice aromatic note. Well done GZ.
Enjoyed this version of a Manhattan with Whistle Pig Old World Rye
This is classic Manhattan; interestingly enough whiskey choice often varies by US area & rye whiskey is acquired taste. I’ve made ’em with blended whiskeys, Grand Marniae or my fav SOUTHERN COMFORT Liqueur. Careful as these are very smooth & after 2 – you may tell all your “secrets”!
