This punch is ideal for holiday meals – complements traditional flavors exquisitely. At Thanksgiving, we served it warm in goblets with the meal and every single person wanted a second glass – which resulted in some drowsier-than-typical guests, but nobody complained! We have since chilled the cider (with cinnamon sticks) in the fridge for two days, adding spirits hours before serving it chilled and it was AMAZING. Hot or cold, the longer the flavors have to meld, the better. And it is now a holiday tradition in our home.
Made this for our Thanksgiving gathering and it was a huge hit. I doubled the recipe and should have made more. Highly recommend. It was best a little warm or at room temperature.
Not too sweet. Loved it!
This recipe was so easy and tastes great. I prefer it hot, but it is good either way.
