Mr. John Clark
My son loves Churros. When I saw this recipe, and how easy it was I had to try it.. glad I did! In his eyes I a gourmet chef! Just wish I had a larger fryer. Mine is small and I could only do a few at a time.

Baking mix is better known to most as “Bisquick” or biscuit mix. It also comes in store brand as well. Hope this helps you.
Mr. Ronald Bowman
I want to try this recipe.. but what exactly is “baking mix”

When I started to make this recipe, I was a little wary because of all the negative reviews, but it turned out great! I halved the recipe because we don’t have many people in our house, and I added a little vanilla, and they tasted amazing. I will DEFINATELY be using this recipe again.

I decorate cakes, so I thought I would definitely be able to do this with an star icing tip. WRONG! Batter was so thick it broke through two bags. Ended up doing it without a tip and straight from the bag. That worked ok, but they tasted bad. Nothing like a real churro. This may be fairly easy, but it is definitely not worth the time to make it. I took a few bites and threw the rest away. I agree…a fried tortilla with butter, cinnamon and sugar tastes much better!

the churros had No taste whatsoever. Also, the bag broke half way through from squeezing it. We all took one bite and threw the rest away. IT was a complete waste of time.

I made the recipe just like it says. I added a bit of vanilla and cooked then. My whole family liked them once they were drenched in the sugar/cinnamon.
Mr. Jonathan Lowe Jr.
I really like churros so I will give it four stars.

The flavor and texture were all wrong. Just plain bad.
