Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 3 1/3 cups water, room temperature
- 2 ounces semisweet chocolate, melted
- 1 oz unsweetened chocolate, melted
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoons dark rum
- Pinch salt
Instructions
- Whisk the sugar and water together. Place 1/2 of the water mixture in a bowl and whisk in the chocolates, cocoa powder, rum, and salt. Whisk in the remaining water. Chill and churn in an ice cream freezer according to manufacturer’s instructions.

Sinfully chocolate! Consistency seemed fine to me. Did not taste the rum, but that was okay by me. Very rich and wonderful!
