These taste good, but they were too messy for me to enjoy making. I kept getting melted chocolate on my knuckles, and flipping them over. If you can get the unwrapped kisses, I’m sure that would be better. I guess I was in too much of a hurry.
I’ve been making these for years and they are always a hit. The only thing different I do is add a peanut M&M. Love adding these to cookie trays.
Fun to make with children.
My family loved it! The kisses did not burn and was soft enough to push in the candy.
one word : ROLOS
Chocolate pretzels are my favorite snack, but no need for the extra chocolate candy in this recipe. Instead, we top it with another pretzel for a pretzel sandwich. We mix it up at Christmas with the candy cane kisses
I’ve been making these for years and I love them so much. Easiest and tastiest recipe ever! More than a few times I’ve put them in the oven for about 5 minutes and they harden in the center and end up gross and a waste of money. Even 3 minutes sometimes is too much, so I find that 2 1/2 minutes is perfect
amazing
Easy peasy to make. I made these for Valentines Day party using Hershey’s Hugs and large M&M message candies. Fun to make and fun to eat!
I’ve used this recipe for years as it was great for my young children to help make. This year I could only find butter flavored waffle pretzels. The butter flavor added an amazing wow factor! I will use them from now on! Also, based on another review, I decided to use Rollos topped with pecans. They received rave reviews and flew off the plate! Lastly, since I had only peanut m&m’s, I decided they may be good with peanut butter cups. I used a small peanut butter cup cut in half then added the peanut m&m on top. They were definitely yummy. The younger kids especially liked them!
KISS’s did not stick to pretzels
Simple to make and everyone loves them! Here’s my tips . . . make sure you line the baking sheet with parchment paper. If you don’t, the melted chocolate sticks and you have to pry the pretzels off. White chocolate melts quicker/gets softer than regular chocolate so it’s best not to bake both kinds at the same time – do all white chocolate on one sheet and leave them in the oven maybe just one minute vs. the two minutes the regular chocolate needs. I put almonds on top instead of M & M’s. And I want to try using Rollos instead of Kisses.
Easy, fun for kids. I preferred the rolo/ pecan mix. Thanks for sharing Mel!
So good! I put a dish of them on our coffee table, and it was gone within a solid 15 minutes. My whole family loved them!
I used square pretzels too. I substituted a piece of Rolos candy for the chocolate kiss. Then instead of using M&Ms for the topping, I substituted a pecan half. It becomes a Turtle candy! Much tastier!
I used a Rolo instead of a Hershey Kiss. Yumola! They were eaten in a flash!
I did not add the M&M’s so only used the chocolate kiss and pretzel. Instead, I added another pretzel on top of the slightly melted chocolate. I liked it better, but my husband said it killed some of the chocolate taste!! Great, easy recipe for a quick dessert!
Easy and crazy good. Never got to may compliments
We love making these year after year and think they are delicious! We also give them as teacher gifts and they always love them!
These were so quick and easy to make! When they were done, I put them in the freezer to set, and they were ready in 5 minutes. I used Utz wheels round pretzels, and I topped them with several combinations: Hershey’s peppermint kisses with an M&M chocolate candy, Hershey’s milk chocolate kisses with a candied cherry, and Rolos chocolate covered caramel candies with a pecan half. I put each one in a mini muffin wrapper before putting them on a tray. These were pretty and delicious!
It was so good the chocolate melts in your mouth
