Reviews
This turned out to be a very easy recipe and produced a scrumptious cake. BTW, you can get devonshire cream (or double devon cream) at Whole Foods.
the recipe looks good but not sure where to find the devonshire cream? I would like to try it.
This cake is absolutely marvelous! It is a dense cake with a strong chocolate flavor that is not very sweet – just what I was looking for. I served it with clotted cream – just perfect. A little goes a long way, great for serving a party of people. The recipe completely fills a 9 inch cake pan. I received compliments from all around the table. I will make this cake often.
