The traditional dish is given a fresh spin in this recipe thanks to a few additives, such home-made fried onions! The homemade version is far superior to the store-bought one!

Consistency was great, good taste, and very simple! I switched out traditional peanut butter for the PBfit peanut butter powder which I highly recommend for smoothies!
The recipe is quick and easy to make for those busy mornings. The chocolate banana peanut butter protein shake is tasty and filling . Thanks for sharing the recipe with us.
This recipe was not only delicious but also unbelievably simple and easy to follow
Delicious!! I drink this a few times a week now after workouts. I use 2tsp cocoa powder otherwise it is a little overpowering. I also recommend using gold standard whey protein chocolate as the protein powder.
Flavor is great. Texture is too runny for me and it wasn’t cold enough. Next time I made it, I froze the banana in slices first, and doubled the ice cubes, and it came out colder and thicker which is my personal preference (more like a milkshake consistency). Delicious with these modifications. Came in handy for liquid diet after dental procedure. Nice and filling
Thanks, it’s creamy goodness Added chia seeds and 1 cup water Substituted *milk with 1 tablespooon Hemp powder *frozen banana instead of ice *no honey (Add oats on diff days and half peanut butter. Filling boost!) *
good healthy delicous
Very good and easy to make.
This is really good! I added half the amount of peanut butter and it was still great. Good texture and great taste.
Extremely smooth and creamy. I used almond milk instead of cow’s which probably added to the overall nutrition profile. I think I’ll use more banana next time because I’m only getting a faint hint of it. Overall a filling, healthy breakfast or snack.
Great recipe, thank you so much! I made it without the honey and it was plenty sweet . Will make again for sure!
Easy to make and quite tasty!
Instead of ice cubes I sliced and froze my banana ahead of time. I used 1T Hershey’s syrup instead of the honey and cocoa powder. 10 g sugar vs. 17. So yummy!
Absolutely love this recipe!! Granted, I haven’t used any other. I alter the recipe a little bit (thanks to some other reviewers) and used 8 ice cubes instead of 6, used almond milk, 1 and 1/2 scoop of protein powder instead of cocoa powder (my protein powder’s serving size is 2 scoops), added about 2tbsp non fat Greek yogurt, tiny splash of vanilla, and even added a bit of cinnamon!!! This has been a staple drink for when I have a low protein day and I heavily heavily recommend it! It’s not visually pretty, but it is tasty!
Yummy although I didn’t add the honey
If you’re a health nut, this is not the recipe for you. Mine turned out pretty liquified, which isn’t want I want in a smoothie.
Very tasty. I used a frozen banana instead of ice. Also used 3/4 cup oatmilk instead of regular milk and added 2 shots of espresso. Yum.
Delicious!!
Whoa! This shake is RICH!! Still pretty yummy. Since I use a Chocolate Malt protein powder I may forego the extra coco powder next time. And while I love peanut butter… not sure how I feel about drinking it. *smiles* Will definitely try again with maybe some modifications for my taste.
Delicious!! I used almond milk instead and didn’t need the cocoa powder as the chocolate protein powder was enough. Made one for my son, husband, and myself. Will make it again tomorrow!
I can’t have dairy and I did not have protein powder, but I loved it.
