My go to when not wanting super sweet with brown sugar or maple syrup. Just a nice smoky flavor and not overly hot!
Delicious! Loved it!

Simply awesome, I included fresh thyme I had on hand and a little maple syrup.
Hands down my favorite side dish!! I bought the jarred chipotles in adobo that are already diced and added a heaping TBSP and it was phenomenal.
This is the only sweet potato casserole I enjoy. People either love it or hate it. Do NOT add a whole can of chipotle peppers. I recall years ago Mr. Brown adding one tablespoon of sauce and one to three peppers finely chopped (according to taste).
I make a big batch of these – good leftover also! Use one or two peppers, to your heat taste level. A unique and deliciously different take on mashed sweet potatoes that everyone loves who has tasted them! Thanks!
These mashed sweets are delicious! PLEASE read the recipe; it says to use one canned chipotle, not ONE CAN of chipotles. 😀
