Ingredients

  1. 4 (4-ounce) boneless pork chops
  2. Salt and ground black pepper
  3. 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  4. 1 teaspoon salt-free garlic and herb seasoning
  5. 1 tablespoon olive oil
  6. 1/2 cup reduced-sodium beef broth
  7. 1/2 cup chopped pickled jalapenos
  8. 1/4 cup honey

Instructions

  1. Place pork chops between 2 pieces of plastic wrap and pound with a meat mallet or rolling pin until about 1/2-inch thick. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.
  2. In a shallow dish, combine flour and garlic and herb seasoning. Mix well. Add pork to flour mixture and turn to coat both sides.
  3. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add pork and cook 2 minutes per side, until golden brown. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine beef broth, jalapenos and honey. Mix until blended. Add broth-jalapeno mixture to the pork and bring to a simmer. Simmer 3 to 5 minutes, until pork is cooked through and sauce thickens.

Really great weeknight meal. Easy and fast. The pork chops were very moist. I cooked 3 minutes per side. Be careful not to cook the sauce down too far or you wont have much of that flavorful sauce left for plating.

I tried using almost 3/4 cup of pickled jalapeños, and it was great if you like a little more “kick”.

These are the best pork chops I have ever made. I have been making this recipe since the first time I saw Robin make it. (This was a few years ago.) My friends request that I make these chops anytime we have a tailgate or party. I follow the recipe exactly and like to serve them with buttered egg noodles. I can honestly say I have served these to 100 guests and did not have one complaint and people were asking for the recipe. Excellent!!!!!

The flavor of these chops are delicious and the recipe very easy to follow. Served with mashed potatoes, the sauce makes a great gravy. Will probably make again but will try some other pork chop recipes first.

Really good! I made this with red mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. My husband absolutely loved the sauce.

Another of our family’s TOP 10 by Robbin!!
Quick and easy to prepare (side of roasted reds for company. It pleases all with it’s spicy heat and sweet combination.
Try it, you will love it.
(A little spicy for our little one, so we use less heat.

Just made it today, I had to water it down with some more beef broth as it was too spicy for the kids but made a aju out of it and sliced the pork up, toasted some rolls and made a meal into a sandwich!! Thanks Jeff Morro , you inspired me to make this meal into a sandwich! Hope you come back soon!

My husband and I loved this recipe. I had it ready for him when he came home from work and he really enjoyed it! I doubled the sauce as recommended by many other reviewers. It was good however I probably will not double it in the future. It produced much more than we needed and we like sauce! I also thought about thickening it with a little cornstarch however I didn’t. I will probably try this in the future if I double the sauce again. All in all it was fantastic, great flavors!
