I added a little cinnamon and splenda, and more cherries, because who doesn’t want more cherries! It was great!

Thank you that’s really easy

I love this oatmeal recipe. I have made it as is and also with some changes such as using regular milk, almond milk, cherry/strawberry jam, almond extract or a drizzle of heavy cream at the end and they all have turned out great!

Absolutely delicious! I had dried cherries but no cherry jam so I used Black Raspberry/Blackberry jam instead. It worked very well with the dried cherries.

The dried cherries were great in the oatmeal but the oatmeal was bland if you didn’t have a cherry in every bite you took. I would still make it agian. I used fruit only spread so maybe more sugar would have made it taste better.

Excellent. It’s hard to find recipes to vary up the morning oatmeal. I thought this was great. I never thought to add jam to the oatmeal. I always use sugar or maybe maple syrup. I also bought a bag of dried cherries from my Sam’s Club and tried them for the first time. Pretty good. They make a nice snack, too. Thanks Ellie for keeping us healthy with your recipes!

I really liked this recipe. Every cherry I bit into was like getting a treat. I added 1 tablespoon of sugar though. Next time I am going to use 1-2 packets of splenda. Since this recipe makes 2 servings, I discovered that the leftover serving is really good the next day. I actually started making the oatmeal a day in advance so all the flavors have time to blend. Thanks Ellie!
