I have made these a couple of times in skillet on stove and they were delicious! I like to add a little extra horseradish to mine. Am looking to try in my air fryer next time. Good on toasted onion buns!
I made 1.5 of the recipe to share with my father. I baked and chopped 10 pieces of bacon, used the larger crater on the cheese so it wouldn’t disappear when cooking, and used my stand mixer to bring it together. I believe I over-dressed my burger and muted the flavor I was looking forward to. I’ll make this again and DOUBLE the horseradish. It smelled sooo good when I was mixing it. But, as others have described, it sorta disappears.
This is THE best hamburger patty recipe I have ever made. The addition of the horseradish just put this over the top. Even if you don’t like horseradish include it anyways, you won’t want it any other way after eating this.
These are some of the best hamburgers I have ever had. We have now made them several times. The kids did not mind the horseradish and they turned out so tender and juicy. Highly recommend!
This was the BOMB! Juicy. Smokey. Cheesey. Life is good with these for dinner.
This was so simple to make that I was shocked (with delight)! I altered absolutely nothing for the first batch, with the exception of halving the horseradish amount because my company wasn’t a fan of it. Out of an assortment of burgers available, these went first and with the most enthusiasm. They held together beautifully on the grill (I got even better results by adding one beaten egg), they were attractive, and they cooked easily and without coming out too done or too rare, which can sometimes be an issue with certain grills. Bravo- and, BTW, I put the called-for amount of horseradish in the next time and everyone raved just as much. Guess it isn’t overpowering no matter what.
I made this without the horseradish and it tasted perfectly fine .
Great burgers!
excellent hamburger and no filler just good Beef flavour. Very moist with no extra moister needed and I used Lean beef. Grease grill well as they may stick at first. Will make again.
These are phenomenal! I made it according to the recipe. Best burger ever!
We like horseradish, you can definitely taste it. Nice juicy burger. We did it in a pan, 5 min per side
Left out horseradish, added chopped onion and Italian bread crumbs. Delicious!
Next time will use extra bacon, cheddar & horseradish
Loved this burger, will become a regular item on the menu, even the kids loved it. I’m glad I used the foil tip on the grill, it held all the juice in and kept the grill from getting too hot, the burgers held together nicely.
Great flavors! Was able to taste the bacon, garlic, and horseradish all throughout the burger. No need for additional condiments either! It easily held firm and was still juicy with each bite. I would have liked it to be a little chessier, so I will be doubling the cheese next time. Definitely recommend!
These burgers were delicious! I added one egg, like others suggested. I did not have any horseradish, but I substituted dijon mustard. I cooked these on my George Forman grill, a little bit too long, for my preference. These were a hit with my husband and 2 teenagers.
OMG So good,I added a dash of liquid smoke and a dash of worcestershire sauce and 1 egg to bind.Me and mine agree it is the best burger we ever ate.We will never eat a burger out ever again.TYSM for sharing.
The only thing I changed was adding an egg to help keep the hamburger patties together. Besides that I kept everything the same and it was fantastic! Definitely one that I’ll keep for the future.
Not impressed, we thought it was too salty. If I make this again, I will leave the salt out. The bacon bits add enough salt.
Followed the recipe exactly as written and these burgers were AMAZING!!! The kids said they were the best burgers they ever had. Will be making them again today!
I thought these would be more flavorful than they were but they were still a good burger.
