Champagne and Pomegranate Cocktail

Ingredients

  1. 1 sugar cube
  2. 1 fluid ounce pomegranate juice
  3. 3 fluid ounces dry sparkling wine
  4. Pomegranate seeds, optional

Instructions

  1. Place a sugar cube in the bottom of a champagne flute. Pour the pomegranate juice over it, then the sparkling wine. Drop a few pomegranate seeds into the glass. Serve.
  2. Yield: 1 drink

Tested this in preparation for Thanksgiving. Yummy and pretty color. It is not super strong. Love the tartness. One sugar cube is just right.
