Ingredients
- 1 (12 ounce) package broccoli coleslaw mix
- ½ cup light mayonnaise
- 2 limes, juiced
- 2 teaspoons white sugar
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon chili powder
- ½ teaspoon ground cumin
- ¼ teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
Instructions
- Place broccoli coleslaw mix in a bowl.

I made it just as the recipe called but also added a little tajin clasico seasoning which is basically chili peppers, sea salt, citric acid and dehydrated lime juice. Mmm GOOD!!!

Very tasty slaw. I altered a little by using chipotle chili powder instead of “chili powder” and cayenne. Also used agave nectar in place of sugar.
A really tasty twist on the usual coleslaw! I thought the seasonings were perfect as is – a nice balance between creamy, sweet and spicy. I served it with honey-mustard salmon, but this would be excellent with fish tacos or smoked brisket or pulled pork. This is best if you make it ahead of time, as the flavors need time to meld.
