A fairly straightforward rendition of the Japanese sushi accoutrement. Serve alongside stir-fries, rice, goma ae, or any other Asian dish.

  2. 3 cups water

Great beverage! With or without alcohol it’s my favorite!

This is absolutely delicious! I do want to agree with the other comment about straining before blending with the ice. Requires blending twice but at least you don’t lose all of the ice when you strain. One time I made it I blended it too much and it was bitter, be sure not to do that! It is not gritty at all, especially if you throw it in the strainer after blending and straining the first time.

I saw this Brazilian lemonade on Instagram. I just did mine but without sugar, just condensed milk and it taste so heavenly. I was skeptical about how the taste would be so I used just one lime. So so yummy One question though, is it good for ulcer, diabetic people and pregnant women? What about kids? Thank you.

I hate this when people do it but I changed the recipe. I substituted one of the cups of water with malibu coconut rum. This was AMAZING. I also put all incredients (except ice and condensed milk) in blender first, then strained. Added ice and milk after and had no issues straining. Yum. Perfect Summer drink. Enjoy.

Good for the beach. My suggestion is too add ice after you blend it

So very yummy when you first make it. If it sits in the fridge and you drink it the next day it is very bitter. I’m going to peel my limes next time or just use lime juice and see if that helps.

I made this recipe by the book with a high powered blender. It’s very tasty, but you really need the ice, and you’d better drink it while it’s still cold. The bitterness of the piths really comes out if you let it get warm.

So good! Although I made one change lol please don’t post me on r/didn’t haveeggs. I didn’t have condensed milk, so I used canned coconut milk. I think it came out fabulous.

It sure served it’s purpose, kinda dehydrating tbh. I doubled the serving and used 8 tablespoons of lime juice instead. Also when doing this didn’t have to use a blender or filter out any lime chunks making it much easier to make. I threw it into a big jug and mixed it from there. So yeah if you crave convenience I recommend my way or the highway. -Christian Jones

My whole family loved it. So simple to make!

Love it! I added a tbsp. or 2 of coconut milk and it gave it a wonderful tasty kick.

So delicious! We did a double batch at a time and did about 3/4 cup sugar instead of doing a whole cup and it was perfectly sweet and tart. We actually did not put ANY water in the mixture and preferred it concentrated in that way. That allowed us to make our drinks individually. I mixed mine with prosecco and my sister chose to put hers with vodka. Prosecco was a nice choice as it is lightly citrus, lightly dry and carbonated. But it was amazing all by itself without water mixed in- it tasted like lime sherbet! So smooth and creamy and tangy. YUM!

I think it is the perfect drink for summer. I wouldn’t change anything about the recipe.

Very yummy and refreshing!!

Absolutely delicious! The first time, I made it exactly as the instructions indicated. Delicious. The following times (yes, more than one), I just threw everything into the blender except the ice and pulsed until it was all finely blended and the sugar was dissolved. Strained it through a somewhat fine strainer so a bit of the pulp remained, then poured over ice. Amazing. I keep meaning to add some cranberry or cherry juice, but don’t remember until I’ve sucked it all down. Oh well. It’s delicious as-is and super easy to make.

Our entire family enjoyed this. Refreshing on a hot day. We’ll be making this again.

Super easy to make. Make sure that you use a bigger triple mesh strainer to strain the drink. Makes it easier to strain into the pitcher! Tired of lime only taste? Add in some frozen raspberries, strawberries, or mango chunks to the blend. Haven’t had a chance to try it with rum yet. But that sounds dreamy. I would use the whole lime. You just need to use a good strainer. And you can add or cut down on the sugar to your taste preference. Yes, you need to drink it within a couple of hours, tops. I love this drink! Perfect for hot summer days!
