Ingredients

  1. 4 cups tomato juice
  2. 2 cups clam-tomato juice, such as Clamato
  3. 2 cups gold tequila
  4. 1/4 cup lime juice
  5. 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
  6. 3 or 4 dashes hot sauce
  7. 3 or 4 dashes Worcestershire sauce
  8. 1/4 cup kosher salt
  9. 1 teaspoon chili powder
  10. 10 cans Mexican lager beer
  11. Ice, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large pitcher, combine the tomato juice, clam-tomato juice, tequila, lime juice, horseradish, hot sauce and Worcestershire sauce. Stir well.
  2. In a small shallow dish, whisk to combine the salt and chili powder.
  3. Dip glass rims in the salt mixture to coat. Fill glasses with ice, then fill halfway with tomato-tequila mixture. Top off with beer and serve.
