I wait all year long for blood oranges. I really do. Yes, I’m clearly sold by the hot-pink color, but I love the somewhat sweeter flavor that blood oranges have over navels and clementines and the like.

Ingredients
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup orange liqueur, such as Grand Marnier
- 1/4 cup vanilla vodka
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 4 blood oranges, peeled and segmented, plus 2 wedges for garnish
Instructions
- Add the milk, orange liqueur, vodka, sugar, vanilla, oranges and 1 cup of ice to a blender and puree until smooth and creamy. Pour into 2 glasses and garnish with a blood orange wedge.
