Who knew boiled potatoes could be so good?! These are so delicious and always a hit, I even pull this recipe out for special occasions, they’re that good. I took some reviewers advice to put peppercorns in a mesh tea steeping ball and it’s perfect. Also have made them ahead a few times and just dropped more butter on them to reheat/warm up in foil on bbq or flash heat in oven. Even cold left overs of these are so good and bonus they’re a resistant starch once cooled. Thank you for this awesome recipe, it is a go to!

Extremely good recipe if you want some really good boiled potatoes! Bay leaves in here add a great touch i have not used in potatoes, and all of the measurements in here were just perfect!

Delicious and so easy to make! I actually did a double batch. The night before last, my boyfriend said he had a craving for boiled potatoes so I told him I’d make him some today but I’ve never really boiled potatoes other than for mashing them… so when in doubt I look to Food Network & this recipe was great!

I’m not a huge fan of boiled potatoes, but my mother makes them for every potluck, gathering, and celebration we attend as a family. I am now 29, and it was her birthday. I decided to make her a nice dinner for her birthday, and since she loves boiled potatoes I thought she would like these paired with the pot roast I made. They were a hit! And even me, Lil’ Miss Boiled Potatoes Hater, enjoyed them! I highly recommend you try this recipe.
