Blueberry Ice Cream

  5.0 – 2 reviews  • Ice Cream

Making fresh blueberry ice cream using only 3 ingredients is really simple, creamy, and delicious!

Prep Time: 10 mins
Additional Time: 4 hrs 20 mins
Total Time: 4 hrs 30 mins
Servings: 6

Ingredients

  1. 1 ¾ cups fresh blueberries
  2. 2 cups light cream
  3. 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

  1. Blend blueberries in a food processor (or mash them really well in a bowl).
  2. Mix cream and condensed milk together in a bowl; mix in blended blueberries.
  3. Pour mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer’s instructions, about 20 minutes. Transfer to an airtight container and freeze until firm, about 4 hours.
  4. I used an ice cream maker, but this can also be done in a bowl left in a freezer that you mix every 20 minutes.

Very good flavor! I didn’t have a ice cream maker so blended it a little then stirred a few times while freezing. Had a little ice crystal texture but still very tasty and a hit with the guests! Will definitely make it again.!
