Ingredients

  1. ¾ cup frozen blueberries
  2. 7 ounces almond milk
  3. ½ medium banana, frozen
  4. 2 cubes ice, or more to taste
  5. 2 tablespoons rolled oats
  6. 1 ½ teaspoons almond butter
  7. 1 teaspoon acai powder
  8. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  9. 1 teaspoon pure maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Combine blueberries, almond milk, banana, ice cubes, oats, almond butter, acai powder, vanilla extract, and maple syrup in a blender; blend until smooth.

This was a pretty good smoothie. I followed the recipe, except for leaving out the ice cubes, which I found to be unnecessary. My hubby and both agreed that it could do with less almond milk and vanilla for our tastes. The amount of almond milk listed made the smoothie almost taste watered down; while the amount of vanilla was almost overwhelming. Other than that, we liked it well enough; and it was a snap to throw together. Thank you for the recipe!
