  6. Extra-virgin olive oil, for drizzling
  7. Steak seasoning, or, coarse salt and black pepper

I’m a total novice, with cooking in general and as well as on the grill, so I followed the directions exactly and these burgers turned out to be amazing!! I was a little concerned that I wouldn’t know how to get the bleu cheese inside the patty without it coming out or the burger falling apart, but I didn’t have any problem. I simply made a divot in the middle, dropped in the bleu cheese crumbles and folded over the edges of the patty so that it all met in the center and the bleu cheese was encompassed in the center. I will definitely be making these again!

These where really good burgers…they had just the right amount of tangy blue cheese, it wasn’t over powering like I thought they might be. Very good!!

I made this for the first time this evening. They were great! I used coarse salt & pepper and left out the minced onion, though I did serve with grilled red onion. Delicious!!

I love bleu cheese. I have a bleu cheese sauce that you put on steak or burgers thats famtastic, but some people hate it. I came up with a Grilled Garlic Burger that has many of the same ingredients as this recipe but no extra fat. I cut out the bacon and the bleu cheese and ended up with a burger so moist and yummy, I will make it over and over again. If you would like my recipe, contact me at sandiesgalley.com. I would happy to share it with you.

Loved these! It was only the two of us so I only used 1 lb. of ground sirloin. I forgot to get the Worcestershire sauce at the store so I used Heinz 57 sauce instead. I also fried up 6 slices of bacon, broke it into pieces, and added it when I put the blue cheese crumbles into the burger. I sprinkled the burgers with “Spicy Montreal steak seasoning”. I took Marie’s Blue cheese dressing and added some Frank’s red hot sauce to it. We like it spicy! Topped the burgers with it, enjoyed!

I made this burger a few weeks ago for my ‘very picky’ mom & younger brother.. we all loved it! My mom never ate blue cheese before either.. my brother hates blue cheese, so I made her burger sans the blue cheese. You got to try this recipe!!

I substituted the beef with ground turkey and added lemmon pepper seasoning, it was amazing, i didn’t even want to top it with blue cheese because it already had strong and amazing flavor. i would HIGHLY recommend. also, i am a realllly bad cook and even i could pull it off! 🙂 (great for college student who are trying to make something quick and easy)

I loved these, and so did my family. Of course, we are all bleu cheese fans–I don’t think someone who doesn’t like bleu cheese would like them. For my tastes, I even added more bleu cheese on top of the burger when I stacked the sandwich–and stacked is right–I think I made them a little thick!!!

I am more likely to grill seafood or steaks than burgers, but this and “My Big Fat Greek Burger” are certainly family favorites!

These burgers are very filling…I only ate one, I wanted another one, but I was too full, he he. Very good recipe Rachel.
