It was decent. I had all the ingredients so that was a plus. It uses A LOT of sugar. I added chocolate chips to the muffins. P.J.
I followed the recipe exactly except, I used pecans because I was out of walnuts. Very moist and delicious. I will be making this all the time.
Fabulous taste and moisture bread! My family gobbles this up!
I made it exactly the way the recipe is written. I find this to be delicious. Not overly sweet, not dense. Pretty near perfect
Absolute yum!
This is my favorite recipe. I take it to the next level by doubling the cinnamon and then I add sprinkled brown sugar to the top after I add it to the loaf pan before baking. It makes the slices have a sweet crystalized topping which is so good!
I added the extra zucchini and some netmeg as others had shared and sprinkled some cinnamon mixed with sugar over the top after removing from the pan. Love this recipe!
Very delicious! Easy to make.
Simply delicious! Didn’t make any alterations to the recipe. My mother even raved about this bread.
Oh, wow! Okay… Not to be a Karen who tweaks and subs and then give a 4. I’m. Totally. A. five! I didn’t even have most of these in hand but your video inspired me to use others. Instead of Cresent I had Grand so and split them and spread. I didn’t have graham but I did have a sleeve of those awesome Delta airline ginger cookies from Kroger and smashed em up. I had a can of apple pie filling. Did everything to your directions and so happy. Thank you thank you for this awesome recipe. I’d never have thought to do it like you did. My family is happy! And again… Not trying to take your steam. Just saying your recipe made me able to use on hand and follow and I love it! God bless you and all your family!
easy and really tasty.
very dense – very very dense –
Really good!
I found the bread moist and very flavorful. I lost my recipe to a water spill on the counter, all over my grandmother’s recipe card. Finding this recipe was perfect as it is very very similar to hers.
Wonderful recipe. Over the few times I made this, I prefer only one tsp of cinnamon, brown sugar + honey to give it a darker color, finely grate the zucchini (grown in my garden!), and sprinkle about a tsp of turbadino coarse sugar on top of each loaf to give it a little crunch.
Loved it! But I used half vegetable oil and half apple sauce. Great use of some of my zucchini from my garden.
I tried this recipe, and loved it. I used 1/2 cup applesauce and 1/2 cup oil. I also used 2 teaspoons of cinnamon because we like it. I also added 1/2 teaspoon of allspice. It was delish.
This recipe was delicious! Thank you for sharing it.
It was very moist. I added a little extra cinnamon and made 2 mini loaves for the second loaf.
Very nice! Worked out well, was moist and tasty… no tweaks!
I changed the sugar to 3/4 cup monkfruit sweetener and 1/4 cup organic raw honey
