Best Strawberry Daiquiri

My Uncle Drew visited for our family reunion and brought a recipe for brownies in a cast iron skillet. During his visit, I believe we produced five batches of these decadent, chocolaty treats! If preferred, sprinkle nuts or coconut flakes on top of the brownie batter.

Prep Time: 10 mins
Total Time: 10 mins
Servings: 8
Yield: 8 daiquiris

Ingredients

  1. 4 ounces frozen strawberries
  2. ½ cup white sugar
  3. ½ cup lemon juice
  4. ⅛ cup lime juice
  5. ¾ cup rum
  6. ¼ cup lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage
  7. 6 cups ice, or as needed

Instructions

  1. Place frozen strawberries in a blender; add sugar, lemon juice, and lime juice. Pour in rum and lemon-lime beverage, then add ice. Blend until smooth.
  2. Use fresh, in-season strawberries if you have them!

Very nice more adult flavored daiquiri. I also cut to 1/4 cup sugar and used tequila instead of rum as it’s what I had on hand. Not super sweet, good balance of lemon, lime, strawberry. Nice sophisticated flavor.

Best daiquiri that I have ever made. Perfect

Husband and I love this when we’re feeling a daiquiri!! I often don’t have all the necessary ingredients (eg, citrus pop) but find that a mix of lemon/lime juice and club soda will do the trick in a pinch.

Made it like the recipe. Enjoyed it!

I thought the lemon and lime flavors overpowered the strawberry flavor. I decided to change it up a bit and just used a quart of frozen strawberries and a cup of strawberry cider instead of sugar. These turned out great!

This recipe is good but I kicked it up by using a good brand of Strawberry ice cream, Strawberry jam, powdered sugar instead of granulated. In blender, ice, Bicardi Rum, strawberry jam, daiquiri mix, Strawberry ice cream & a little 7up. This makes, what I call, an adult Strawberry milkshake. When poured into glasses you garnish w/ a whole Strawberry on top of drink, it won’t sink.

We added extra strawberries and it was delicious!!!

I doubled the lime juice accidentally the first time, it was good either way!

Made this refreshing drink on a hot summer day. Did not have any lemon or lime juice but found it just as refreshing we’re simply strawberries a little sugar and rum. Delicious and will definitely make again!

Made exactly as directed (yes, even the 6 cups of ice) and these are fantastic! If you measure out the frozen strawberries as indicated (about 6 strawberries weighed), you need the ice because it’s not enough on it’s own. One could certainly double or triple the strawberry amount to reduce the sugar and ice amount, but I tried this recipe exactly as written and it’s wonderfully spot on. Tastes just like it would at a restaurant. I will be making these again. Thx for the great recipe!

Love it so delicious

Added a little whip cream, extra strawberries and cut down the granulated sugar by 1/4 cup. Fantastic and delicious. Thank you for whoever made this recipe.

Kids and adults alike loved this – made without the rum for everyone.

I used 1/3 cup sugar. Cooked down the strawberries a little while melting the sugar making a mixture. Then allow that to completely chill before mixing the rest. Make sure everything is cold as can be before blending. Add banana for extra flavor!

Made as directed but without the lemon/lime carbonated drink and it was excellent.

Love it! it feels like the number of servings is wrong though. They would be small servings. I scale down to 2 servings for one not very big drink.

Used fresh strawberries instead and it was delicious!

Far too much rum. Had to add double everything else to make up for it. Other than that, the ingredients listed made a great daiquiri

Delish!
