Ingredients
- 2 tomatoes, cubed
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 4 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- seasoning salt to taste
- ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mix tomatoes, dried basil, Parmesan cheese, olive oil, garlic, seasoning salt and ground black pepper. Cover and chill in the refrigerator 8 hours, or overnight, before serving.

Only change I made was to add some fresh basil in addition to the dried. Excellent! This is a keeper. I used Ina Garten’s recipe for making the toasted baguette slices. It was worth the bother. Didn’t get a picture, and it is ALL GONE!! I plan to make more to put on spaghetti.
Toasted one side first then turned over and added the ingredients….yummy

This was tasty. I only got mine to marinate for 2 hours. Used fresh basil, omitted the parmesan and cut back oil to just a Drizzle. Serves mine on top of cream cheese baguette.
Was excellent! Took this recipe and cooked some pasta, topped the pasta with this recipe, wallaw was great cold fresh sauce on your favorite pasta.

If you need to make the bruschetta the night before it still taste great. I used fresh herbs.
This was very good. I buttered and toasted the bread. Next time I would use fresh basil, add some red onion and use fresh grated parmesan. Also add some garlic to buttered bread while toasting.
Add balsamic, sub pesto for basil, and reduce parmesan
