Needs more flavor. Next time I will try doubling the sugar
Trisha usually got her recipes from her mom. And Trisha is a fantastic cook, baker! When you want good homemade from scratch even her dump can soup is so delicious! This gal searches for just the perfect taste! Love that about her recipes. Just like home.
Mmmmm
Love this recipe!
I am a south Louisiana native, and I have to say, these taste nothing like authentic beignets. These are incredibly bland, and they don’t puff up like they are supposed to. Ended up throwing half the dough in the garbage because my family did not like them at all.
It seems so yummy I’m gonna try it
Looks yummy can’t wait to try it
Lcasarez– why would you rate a scrumptious recipe a “1” because the dough is fried in peanut oil and you are scared??? Albeit allergies can be serious, but if someone in your circle of family and friends is allergic, please just put on your big girl pants, use your head, and choose a different oil for frying them in.
Awesome.
