I made Parmesan cheese crisps and they were delicious! They easily came off the parchment paper.

I love these make them all the time! I add a lil raos spicey seasoning as well. So good! Simple and easy! I’m not sure how the person a couple posts back got them to stick to the parchment paper. That has never happened to me, and I make them at least once a week! ♡

I have made cheddar crisps many times. I love them. I also make parm crisps, which are made exactly the same way except that parmesan cheese is used instead of cheddar. I suspect almost any good, firm cheese could be used. I did not make these because they are keto, that is just a side benefit.

Easy to make. Fun to eat. I added Everything Bagel to my 2nd tray. Even better!

These are great AND THEY DON’T STICK TO NEW SHEETS OF PARCHMENT PAPER. I’m sure that the one-star (most helpful critical) comment came from somebody who either used wax paper, paper towels, or maybe construction paper. They did something wrong and should either correct or remove their comment… maybe they tried it with Velveeta.

Try topping them with a jalapeno slice and ‘everything’ bagel seasoning before baking…muah!

Perfect low kcal snack or salad companion. Fresh Parmesan, one tablespoon on parchment paper, baked 400° for 7 minutes. Cooled for 5 minutes, then put in air tight container. Crisp, tasty, and so pretty. I wouldn’t use a packaged cheese and the parchment paper is important. You can use about any fresh cheese, but Park is about the lowest cal cheese there is. Bon apetite!

Perfect! So easy and no fail snack. I use Monterey Jack with nothing else.

I loved making these. So easy and taste great. The only thing I changed was I added a few sprinkles of cayenne pepper. (I like hot stuff). For those who find parchment paper expensive, I get mine at the dollar store $1.25, and you can reuse it.

I have made this with cheddar and with parmesan. With the cheddar I sprinkled a little garlic powder and chili powder on the mounds and with the parmesan I used garlic powder and celery salt. Both were wonderful and I have made them several times already. Next I am going to try parmesan with coarsely ground fresh pepper.

Tried wax paper – completely, 100% stuck. Tried greased cookie sheet, okay, but very greasy, of course. The chips became crispy upon cooking, but still too greasy. I think I will skip this recipe. If the trick is parchment paper, it is very expensive and I tend not to have it around.

Read reviews and took some of the suggeations I used the Fiesta Blend of cheeses. Opened the bag up, added some taco seasoning, closed and shacked the bag to get the seasoning mix with the cheese. Tried one tray with parchment and a second tray with aluminum foil sprayed with olive oil. Both worked well but in future will use parchment, chips less greasy. Over all easy recipe and they taste good.

These are great, I found a five finger pinch (1tbs) of cheese is about right. We like the Cheddar and Monterey Jack shredded cheese mix. You can also use Mozzarella cheese. Add favorite topping including fresh herbs, red pepper flakes, jalapeño pepper slices, whatever you like. Somebody posted their’s stuck to the parchment paper, I’ve never had one stick, maybe they didn’t let them cool long enough. After cooling I move them to a paper towel to soak up residual oil.

Great recipe! I accidentally discovered “cheese crisps when I over microwaved a small batch cheese in a small microwaveable bowl. Now, rather than shredding cheese. I cup pre sliced sharp cheddar into quarters , place them in a parchment lined baking pan and bake them at 350 for 13 minutes.. Try sprinkling them with our Favorates herbs They all come out uniformly sized and snapped and are always a party favorate

Perfect just the way it’s written Thank you

Great Keto snack. Easy to make. It’s Parchment paper not wax paper. No sticking issues at all. Play with size, shape, seasoning. Enjoy. Thx.

Worth the time and effort

K so those of you that are having the issue with the sticking to the parchment paper. An important step was left out of this. You need to GREASE THE PARCHMENT PAPER (BEFORE) you put the cheese balls on it. Fixes the problem.
