Banana Split Shake

The ideal appetizer for holiday celebrations are these vibrant caprese skewers with bite-sized pieces of mozzarella, tomato, and basil.

Ingredients

  1. 4 large scoops vanilla ice cream
  2. 1 banana
  3. ½ cup frozen sliced strawberries
  4. ½ cup crushed pineapple with juice
  5. ¼ cup chocolate syrup, or as needed
  6. Gay Lea Real Coconut Whipped Cream
  7. 4 Maraschino cherries

Instructions

  1. Combine ice cream, banana, strawberries, pineapple and chocolate syrup in a blender. Blend until smooth.
  2. Divide shake between 2 large (or 4 smaller) glasses. Squirt a generous amount of coconut whipped cream on top. Garnish with additional chocolate syrup and a cherry (if using). Serve immediately.
  3. For a fancy presentation, drizzle the chocolate syrup into the glasses, swirling so that it coats the sides before pouring in the shake.

3.30.18 Had some fresh pineapple in the fridge, so I used that instead of canned. I really didn’t measure the ingredients, just threw them into the Vitamix and gave them a whirl. Luncheon indulgence today, delicious.

I loved it…Oh did not have crushed pineapple going have get some know would make even better. I had frozen banana and used fresh strawberry due to banana being frozen. Plus I cut up 1 medium strawberry in lil pieces
