I don’t need to look for any other banana bread recipe! This is the best! I’ve been making it for several years and it’s consistently, moist and delicious! The bonus is it’s so easy to throw together!

So easy and so delicious

I followed the recipe exactly with one exception- I had to take it out 10 minutes early because it was overcooking. For 2 loaves, 45 minutes would be about right with my oven. The banana bread was tasty, except for the very bottom and top edging that had gotten a wee bit too done. This is the absolute first time I had ever made banana bread, and was a very easy recipe to follow. Thanks!

I wondered when I only saw 1 1/2 c flour for 2 loaves but I followed recipe. The loaves were very flat one looked like the height of a cookie

This is the first time I’ve baked banana bread and it turned out great. It’s a very good recipe! I took the advice of some of the commenters and added 1 tsp vanilla, 1 tsp cinnamon, and 1 tsp baking powder. I also used 5 bananas instead of 3 and it turned out delicious. Next time I make this, I’ll add walnuts for a bit of a crunch. Oh, it only took 40 minutes to bake at 350F. Thanks!

I made this recipe with few small tweaks after reading the reviews. First, I added 1/2 tsp cinnamon. couldn’t taste it in the bread so if you like this – I’d add more than 1/2. I messed up and added 1 tsp salt instead of 1/2 couldn’t really tell this either. I had 4 bananas so I used 4 instead of 3 and I added a tsp of vanilla. I BARELY got two loafs. They were small ones. And I would NOT recommend 1 hour in the oven. I put mine in for 25 minutes at 350 and one loaf was done. 2nd loaf needed 10 more minutes. They were delicious!

This bread was so good! If you put chocolate chips or cranberries and walnuts in them it makes them even better! It was moist in the middle and crunchy on the edges 10/10 highly recommended!

I liked the recipe fine. I made some changes. I used self rising and omitted the salt and baking soda. I used 1/2 cup brown and white sugar each. I also added a tsp of vanilla. I made muffins because this was breakfast. It came out to 12 muffins and I baked them at 350 for 20 minutes. My husband loved them!

Best ever banana bread. I happen to have one more extra bananas so used it and it still turned out fabulous. Love that the recipe makes two loaves, one to eat, one to share. Took to a covered luncheon and received rave reviews. Added a mix of walnuts and pecans. Yum Yum Yum?

I use this recipe to make banana bread for my in-laws all the time. They absolutely love it, and so do I. There are NEVER any leftovers. Love it!

Excellent recipe with a few small adjustments: add a teaspoon of baking powder, a tablespoon of cinnamon and a couple of extra bananas. The nice thing about this recipe is that it uses so little butter and part of that can be replaced by apple sauce or pear sauce with no noticeable difference. I made this recipe + 50% and used seven bananas, plus I added walnuts. Ended up with nine big muffins and one loaf – all very moist and flavorful.

Use this any time I have leftover bananas. I add a handful of chocolate chips and chopped walnuts.

Made this according to the recipe and added crushed walnuts. It was delicious!

My parents literally buy spoiled bananas at the store JUST SO I CAN MAKE THIS BREAD!! I like to add walnuts to it for an extra something but the rest is BEAUTIFUL!!!!

I just made this, and it is really, really good! I’m not a fan of banana bread myself, but I’m glad I tried this as it changed my mind! 🙂 I even went back for seconds haha. I followed the recipe to a T, except I didn’t have baking soda so instead of regular flour, I used self rising. I think it turned out great! It only needed 50 minutes in the oven instead of the full hour. It turned out and tastes very good, I’m happy I made it, I’ll be making it again for others for sure. I definitely recommend!!!

Very good, easy recipe! Will make again!

The only adjustment I made was to add cinnamon and poppy seeds. I love a little extra crunch!
