My husband loves this recipe. I add a little cayenne to my flour for a little punch.
Easy dinner. Delicious!
The only change I made was I broiled the pork chops after topping them with the mixture and it caramelized the honey and pecans onto the chops so good
I made this without the flour coating and seasoned the porkchops woth onion and garlic powder as well. also accidentally made too much of the sauce because I forgot I wasn’t using as much meat pretty god, very simple not my favorite flavors personally but im a real picky eater
I loved the ease of preparation & enjoyed the dish. It was a nice change however hubby didn’t care for it at all so I probably won’t be making this one again.
Excellent weekday dinner! I serve with baked sweet potatoes and a vegetable. Quick and easy and delish!
Cook time was vague but assumed 5 minutes per side. These were a little overdone. 4 minutes a side probably would have been perfect. Taste was very good.
So good and super easy. I didn’t pound the chops; left them normal cut and they were juicy and perfect.
This review is a mixed bag. The sauce was way to sweet. I found it more like candy. I did love the nutty pork thing. I can see myself making it again because of the ease in making.
delicious
Made this last week family loved it. Wife said we have to have this more often and doesn’t like to eat a lot of pork
We had this over the weekend. Following the advice of other reviewers: I added about 1/2 cups sliced onion and 1/2 tsp minced garlic in while browning the pork chops. I also added a 1/4 cup of chicken broth and 1 tsp soy sauce (this, then made it more of a sauce than a glaze). I did not toast the pecans. These pork chops and sauce were amazing! I served it with mashed potatoes and green beans. There were no leftovers!
Have made a couple of times. Added a couple tablespoons peach balsamic vinegar one time and maple syrup another.
Turned out really sweet when I made it following the recipe exactly. It is really easy and pretty though so I may make it again and add a little balsamic vinegar to tone down the sweet?
I had purchased pork loin from the store and came across this recipe. It turned out amazing. I did substitute honey for agave and walnuts for pecans because that’s what I had on hand and it turned out amazing. Definitely a keeper .
It was soo delicious! Talk about quick! I did not alter the recipe and it worked out fine. My picky husband approved!
This was okay. I gave it 3 stars for the easy recipe, but it was not super flavorful. Tasted like pork chops in a nutty maple syrup.
Yum! Not all family liked it unfortunately. 9 Thin chops
Good recipe. I made with walnuts. I will probably try to make a thicker sauce next time…with some corn starch. Sauce was a little tangy, but stink good. play around with the flavors and you will get the sauce you want. Definitely a keeper!
Wow, this was a big hit with my husband and a guy bicycling across the USA. the flavor was just right.
It was ok, but I’ll probably never make again. The flavor combination was not to my or my husband’s liking.
