Ingredients

  2. 2 pounds asparagus, trimmed
  3. 1 lemon, halved
  4. Freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Bring a medium pot of water to a boil over medium heat. Season the water with salt and add the asparagus. Cook until tender-crisp then transfer the asparagus to a serving plate. Squeeze the juice of the lemon over the top and season with salt and pepper, to taste.

I made this and loved it. I boiled my water then put the asparagus in and cooked it bout 20 min. I kept checking it till it got to my tenderness.
