I always use this marinade when we barbecue chicken. Usually, I only use this sauce to marinate the chicken cubes for a few hours before making kabobs.

Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons fish sauce
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons sunflower seed oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Chinese five-spice powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Combine fish sauce, sesame oil, sunflower seed oil, lemon juice, Chinese five-spice powder, and salt in a container and mix well.
- You can use 3 thinly sliced lemongrass leaves instead of the lemon juice.

Haven’t tried it BUT already love that it uses fish sauce instead of soy sauce (one kid has a soy intolerance) and No Sugars! My kids hate savory with sweet (think any barbecue sauce). Just looking at ingredients… I’m thinking this will work for us.
