Ingredients

  1. 1 (15 ounce) can chickpeas, drained
  2. 2 (6 ounce) jars artichoke hearts, drained
  3. ½ cup Greek yogurt
  4. ½ cup fresh basil
  5. ⅓ cup pickled jalapeno pepper slices
  6. ¼ cup olive oil
  7. 1 lemon, juiced
  8. 2 tablespoons hemp seeds
  9. 2 cloves garlic
  10. 1 teaspoon ground paprika
  11. 1 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
  12. ½ teaspoon curry powder

Instructions

  1. Combine chickpeas, artichoke hearts, Greek yogurt, basil, jalapeno pepper slices, olive oil, lemon juice, hemp seeds, garlic, paprika, cayenne pepper, and curry powder in a food processor; blend until smooth.
  2. Substitute sesame seeds for the hemp seeds if desired.

Very good! I wasn’t sure, so I used marinated artichokes, which worked well in this. I was afraid that there was gonna be too much going on here, but all the flavors went together nicely. This does have a nice kick to it, and I reduced the cayenne a bit, so just keep that in mind. I would make this again! Thanks for sharing. 🙂
