Simply amazing sauce for the Spatchcock Chicken recipe! Also used leftover marinade for pork tenderloins on the grill the next evening 🙂
Deserves 20 stars. Best BBQ sauce except for my homemade BBQ sparerib sauce (secret recipe).
I made this today to go on the pulled pork I made on the smoker. I should have followed the recipe and wanted to make sure it had a strong apple flavor. I had tried a different recipe prior that was to mild…so I added 3/4 of an extra apple to this recipe…The flavor was spot on but the extra apple made it thinner than I normally like. So next time I may leave that out or simmer it down longer to thicken it up. Good recipe thought for sure!
This is a fantastic sauce for pulled pork or pork ribs. So simple. (I use my immersion blender to puree to a smooth consistency).
This is my new favorite bbq sauce! Amazing!
Loved this! But I wonder if I can omit the liquid smoke?
Good recipe but it tasted too much like ketchup but I added a little bit of baking soda and that seemed to fix the problem. It is very sweet but very good
OMG! This sauce is so amazing! Used it on the Spatchcock Chicken, which was also so yummy and moist. After voraciously eating the thigh, leg, and wing, my husband, who does not eat chicken breast meat, proceeded to eat that too! Oops, no leftovers. Haha. This is a new favorite BBQ chicken recipe.
