Reviews
Been a hit around the Thanksgiving table a few years running, but it has room for improvement. I personally find bourbon or blended scotch goes better with it, and the apple slices in the drink are essential, not just garnish. They give it a flavor evolution over time, encouraging sipping and savouring over bolting it down.
Not as think as you drunk I am…
it works well
I am shocked at the rave reviews for this drink. Thought it was AWFUL – way too strong. After 2 sips, the side of my face went numb! Way too high an alcohol content …. Just sayin…
Sorry Guy, I made this back in the 70’s when I was a bartender going thru college. It’s nice made in a pitcher and served on a buffet with other holiday drinks at an open house party which we can’t have these days. Oh, for the good old days.
nice drinkage
Delicious, my mom loves it. Very easy to make.
i like it but the cranberry juice over powers it just a little. i thank changing it to cranberry apple and even things up alittle makes it tast better
Not a bad drink. It does pack a little hidden punch. I think a little more apple liquor is the way to go. A pinch of cinnamon is good too.
Was very yummy, but don’t over do the apple liquor, than its too sweet!!
