Ingredients

  1. 5 pounds white sugar
  2. 4 cups water
  3. 2 ounces almond extract
  4. 2 ounces vanilla extract
  5. 4 teaspoons lemon juice
  6. 6 (2 liter) bottles ginger ale

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar, water, almond extract, vanilla extract, and lemon juice together in a bowl until sugar is dissolved and syrup is thickened; refrigerate until chilled.
  2. Mix 2 cups syrup and ginger ale together in a punch bowls.

I thought the addition of almond extract was rather strange but the flavors worked so well. I substituted Stevia for the sugar. It was cool and refreshing. I will make this again. Thanks for sharing your recipe!
