Air Fryer Salmon Burgers

Over a mixture of soft apples and cranberries is a deliciously sweet streusel topping.

Ingredients

  1. avocado oil nonstick cooking spray
  2. 1 (14.75 ounce) can salmon, drained and flaked
  3. ¾ cup panko bread crumbs
  4. ½ cup diced onion
  5. ⅓ cup mayonnaise
  6. ½ medium lemon, juiced
  7. 1 large egg, beaten
  8. 1 teaspoon dried dill
  9. 1 teaspoon seafood seasoning (such as Old Bay®)
  10. salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  11. 3 brioche buns, halved
  12. 3 teaspoons mayonnaise, or to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat an air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper and spray with avocado oil.
  2. Mix salmon, panko, onion, 1/3 cup mayonnaise, lemon juice, egg, dill, seafood seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bow until well combined. Shape into 3 equal-sized patties.
  3. Place salmon patties into the basket and spray with avocado oil.
  4. Air fry until patties are golden brown, 8 to 10 minutes. Flip patties over, spray with avocado oil, and air fry an additional 4 to 7 minutes. Serve on buns spread with remaining mayonnaise.
  5. You can spread tartar sauce on the brioche buns instead of mayonnaise.
