Acai Bowl

This acai bowl was found in Hawaii. It was excellent and devoid of dairy.

Ingredients

  1. 1 cup acai berry sorbet
  2. 2 tablespoons granola, or as desired
  3. 4 strawberries, sliced
  4. 1 banana, sliced
  5. 2 teaspoons unsweetened coconut flakes, or as desired
  6. 1 teaspoon honey, or as desired

Instructions

  1. Place acai sorbet in a bowl and top with a layer of granola. Line strawberry and banana slices on granola layer and top with coconut flakes and a drizzle of honey.

I discovered this during my recent trip to Puerto Rico. This is healthy, delicious and very satisfying. I suggest adding pumpkin seeds and/chia seeds for added nutritional boost.
