  1. 3 tablespoons butter
  2. 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  3. 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  4. 1 teaspoon seasoning salt
  5. 1 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

I made this for the first time tonight. It was AMAZING!!! Even my husband, who is very picky about his chicken was saying how good it was. It made it into the keeper file. LOL. I do think that next time I make it I will cut the breasts while they are still partially frozen. One of the pieces was kind of dry after cooking since it was thinner than the other pieces. Other than that, It was really good. I didn’t have any seasoning salt so I used a spice mix called Spike. Worked great.

This is basic cooking 101 good but not great. Instead of 4breast use 2 and live in freezer for 5min make it easier to cut in half lengthwise and cut cooking time in half. Use clarified butter and real garlic over medium heat, add veg and rice simple dinner. Enjoy

This is definitely a recipe for people who cannot cook. You can put any seasoning on a chicken breast, sauté it and it’s good. My idea of garlic chicken is using real crushed garlic. Not overly salty, chemically altered garlic salt or powder. Using fresh “real” ingredients makes a meal far more delicious and healthier.

There is a review further down that says this is only a good recipe if you don’t know how to cook. I would suggest that it isn’t even good for that. I barely know how to boil water and was trying to make a nice dinner for my husband who has had a stressful 7-10 days. This looked like a fairly straight forward recipe and I went with it. The recipe has a major problem with it: it never gives an instruction as to when to bring the heat back down after melting the butter before putting the chicken in. If you’re a beginning cook like me, this is important information to have available. To cook this on medium high heat burns the outside of the chicken and leaves the inside partially raw (as I painfully found out). Bottom line: this recipe needs to be updated, corrected, whatever word you want to use, as soon as possible. I really don’t want someone to go through the same experience I did.

Use this amount for about 1 lb chicken. Double otherwise. Didn’t saute. Be sure to mix seasoning with butter before adding chicken. It was good in the part where there was plenty of flavor.
