5-Minute Bulk Blender Pizza Sauce

  4.8 – 4 reviews  • Tomato

The finished product is a bit lighter and the recipe is a bit more detailed than some of the other recipes that are offered. You can adjust some of the ingredients to better suit your preferences. Although this liqueur has been made in many different ways, this one is the closest to Irish cream from convenience stores. The most adaptable as well. Hershey’s® chocolate syrup is not used in the recipes of store brands. If made exactly as directed, this one ought to taste a touch more like the renowned Irish brand “B” and have a better consistency. Make the decision.

  1. 2 (15 ounce) cans tomato sauce
  2. 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  3. 1 tablespoon white sugar
  4. 1 tablespoon dried thyme
  5. 2 teaspoons dried basil

  9. ¾ teaspoon salt
  10. ½ teaspoon baking soda (Optional)

  3. Remove individual containers from freezer to thaw before using, about 60 minutes.
  4. Onion powder can be used in place of dried shallots, if needed.

8-7-22 Excellent. I cut recipe in half, no oil, no salt, no baking soda, no thyme (used Penzeys Italian herb seasoning but I don’t think it was needed). Also used dried onions as I didn’t have dried shallots. Half the recipe fit perfectly in my large Majic Bullet container.

I halved the recipe since I was using for a small cauliflower crust pizza. The thyme was a little too much for my taste; so, I used very thinly on the pizza. I’d prbly back off a tad on the thyme next time, but definitely a tasty and worthy sauce. Thank you for sharing.

I’m never buying canned pizza sauce ever again! This is SO much better. Great balance of flavors. I made it exactly as written, well except for making a half batch. Use a good quality olive oil, because the flavor really comes through. I love this so much, I was eating it my the spoonful while making my pizza! Great recipe!
