Delicious! Used Brandywine heirloom tomatoes, minced garlic, balsamic vinegar, fresh basil.
Can’t beat a classic tomato-basil salad on a summer day, or any time of year for that matter! The only thing I changed was I cut back on the olive oil, since a whole tablespoon wasn’t necessary for 1 serving. Always a winner, especially paired with grilled fish or chicken.
I added feta cheese.
Very nice tomato salad. I did not make changes but might add some chopped walnuts next time for an added crunch.
This is my go to summer side. Delicious!
Very Good, I ate the whole thing.
Really great taste nice for the hot days
Only change was the use of balsamic vinegar instead of red wine. And I LOVE THIS! YUM!
So light and refreshing. I used a combination of Red and yellow Cherry Tomatoes from my garden. I let sit at room temperature for about 1 hour before dinner. will try again with the different basil’s i have growing in my herb garden Thai, lime, and Lemon.
So simple, yet so delicious! I had some fresh garden tomatoes from my neighbor and this was the perfect way to use them up. I opted for white wine vinegar and a little sea salt along with some fresh minced garlic. Perfect with warm crusty bread!
Loved this recipe! Took one cook’s suggestion and used balsamic vinegar (my favorite) instead of red wine. Also, didn’t use salt but added crumbled feta cheese..nummy!
Had to make extra dressing. Also like it with Balsamic vinegar.
Very good, refreshing and easy. Wonderful with fresh garden tomatoes.
Fresh, delicious combination of flavors! I made it just a half-hour before dinner, and using several types of cherry tomatoes (orange, yellow, red) halved, and tripled the recipe. Great alternative to the classic salad of greens.
Quick and easy side dish for the bbq table.
Very simple, fast, and tasty.
Very nice, easy and light. We loved this!
When I make this salad, I like to throw in a clove of fresh minced garlic. If you can stand it, throw this together and let it sit for an hour. NOTE: This is also just as good with a quality balsamic vinegar.
