Wayyy too salty. When I saw how much soy sauce the recipe called for, I raised an eyebrow and considered using less. Should’ve followed my gut and used half the amount.
My husband doesn’t care for peppers, so I substituted some sliced zucchini and summer squash. Not the same texture but still very tasty. We are trying to keep our weight down so I used 1/2 of the sausage. Otherwise I made it as written. My husband never guessed that I hadn’t made it with rice. It was my first time using riced cauliflower and we both enjoyed the texture and taste of this dish.
Delicious! Even my 12 year old granddaughter loved it!
Delicious. I made a couple substitutions due to the pandemic – frozen mixed veggies instead of broccoli and mixed color peppers instead of just red – they were small and not enough red ones in the bag and green onions instead of cilantro. I did double the cauliflower rice as it really needed that to be a rice type dish
I tried this because I had smoked sausage to use…not my favorite, but not wasting it either. I would absolutely love this with a different meat or even no meat and more egg. Definitely use the recommended amount of soy sauce. I added a tspn of pickled ginger…delicious.
I’m new on the riced cauliflower train, and wasn’t sure I would like this, but it was really delicious!! I appreciate how quick to make it is also! I decided to use a frozen pepper blend (quicker for me, more colorful and more convenient) and I had this made in about 15 minutes. Dinner is done!
This is a good fried rice substitute. You can double the cauliflower rice, it tends to shrink. The flavor is good, you won’t miss your favorite take out.
We loved it, added onion and mushrooms, made my own cauliflower rice and used Hardwood smoked chicken sausage. Adding this to our monthly menu.
Great Recipe! I made it as written. I personally would cut back on the soy sauce some, because of the sodium in the sausage! You won’t be disappointed!
This was good. I used a full head of cauliflower which I put through the food processor. I also added a chopped onion. I did not add the sugar. I did fry the egg in the sesame oil and I added ginger and black pepper to the cauliflower. The full cauliflower gave us 5 large portions. Subbed HF turkey kielbasa.
I too thought there wasn’t enough cauliflower rice so I doubled it. Next time I will add an extra egg and some chopped onions. Easy and quick recipe.
This was surprisingly tasty! I made the recipe exactly as written. I would have liked more riced cauliflower in it though, considering it is a “fried rice” dish. Next time I would double the cauliflower. There’s some ingredients here that I wouldn’t have thought to put together, but it works!
I adapted the recipe for our paleo lifestyle. I cooked in coconut oil. I used fresh cauliflower, coconut aminos and instead of sugar I used honey. When I was browning the cauliflower I added fresh garlic and mixed in some coconut aminos. It was so delicious. Your recipe is simple and very easy to follow. Thank you.
The sausage was a little burnt on one side. The sausage cooked to fast on medium high
Really good. I made it with turkey sausage and used the little mini multi colored peppers. Was not sure about the cauliflower rice. It was a hit and will be a return recipe soon. So easy and quick!
Delicious!!
I used rice instead of cauliflower rice (my husband doesn’t like it) and this a was wonderful change of pace way to use link sausage. When I make friend rice I find it all works well in a large electric skillet. There’s enough room to move things around without needing extra plates or bowls. The egg can be cooked and stirred rather than having to cut in strips, but that’s just my preference. I love recipes like this as you can generally add items you prefer, or have on hand. I shared this recipe with a neighbor who can’t eat pineapple and says she often substitutes mandarin oranges.
Yes I would make it again it was so yummy and easy to make I loved it. It was so awesome.????
Delicious. Quick. Easy.
Pretty much made as written… But…I didn’t have sesame oil, so cooking I used olive oil & for the sauce I used some sesame dressing with the other ingredients & I used a sweet & hot smoked sausage also added yellow & orange peppers… Flavors were AMAZING! We will definitely make again
Taste great and easy to make. For sure l am going to make it again
