Excellent! Can’t believe I didn’t cook it this way before. Used 1/2 head of broccoli, 1 lg garlic clove (a bit much, but I didn’t want to waste and love garlic;), used top notch EVOO, added some pine nuts, sprinkled with pre-grated parm/reggiano, and only squeezed lemon over it at the end. Yum-yum…will definitely make again!
Cooked at 350 (other dishes cooking at 350) – still got pleasantly crispy. I put the cheese (used finely grated parmesan) and lemon juice on the table to let guests add or not. I have also made a similar recipe which adds some toasted pine nuts. I liked the garlic in this. Good recipe.
We only had frozen mixed veggies of broccoli, cauliflower and carrots on hand but, really wanted to try this. It was a 12 oz bag and we followed the recipe except we did garlic powder, that is all we had on hand. Oh my gosh this was so good. I can not begin to tell you how good. We will definitely be making this again. Thank you for a great recipe. Enjoy
We loved it. Didn’t use garlic, will next time.
Delicious recipe, I made it and cake out so good. Will be making it again omg he next couple weeks, thanks!
This was fantastic! I also made another recipe that required heating minced garlic in olive oil, so I used the leftovers from that for this recipe.
Very delicious! I made it for myself and my dad and we both loved it. We added a handful of unsalted pecan chunks to it and it gave it a nice occasional crunch
Fantastic! I omitted the lemon juice (was serving with halibut already marinated in lemon juice & EVOO, plus lemon butter), tossed other ingredients into a ziplock and added broccoli to coat. Spread broccoli on a sheet pan and roasted for 18 minutes. Turned oven off, sprinkled w/cheese and popped back into oven for additional melting. Superb!
Made this for company and followed the directions. It was tasty, easy and a big hit.
This was delicious! I doubled the garlic and sliced it instead of mincing. I also only used 1 tsp of lemon juice. Next time I will reduce the cook time to 15 minutes.
Made this in air fryer, turned to 360 for 20 minutes.
Easy and delicious!
An ideal recipe for anyone who does not like broccoli! They may not know they have eaten it as the dish is so full of flavour. The only change I made was with the Parmesan cheese. I guess the make you mention is American. I used no-name found in Canada, as that is all we have.
This was so good, even my picky eaters, (and I have a lot) were spooning it onto their plates! Great recipe! Will make again and again.
Really good recipe, I used double the amount of garlic and no lemon juice. Also instead of Parmigiano I used sheep cheese, so an entirely different recipe, but still delicious !
Terrific! I made it as the recipe said. I skipped the last tablespoon of olive oil though. Absolutely terrific! I will definitely make it again!!
I may never steam broccoli again. I had to adjust the temp in order to coordinate another part of the meal that also required oven time: chicken recipe needed 1 hr+ at 375, and this recipe wanted 425 for 20+ min. Hmmm. I compromised by setting the oven at 400, putting the chicken in for 30 min, then added the broccoli for another 30 min. This caused a little charring on the veggies (I added red bell pepper), which was delicious! Next time, I will just roast the veggies by themselves, but will watch the roast to make sure I get this yummy char again.
Easy and flavorful
This is now my wife’s favorite way to eat broccoli. Didn’t have lemon on hand so one time was without it… just as good and my wife said she liked it better without.
Use Less salt
We all enjoyed this recipe. My kids were unsure but after a couple of bites they liked it very much.
