Excellent recipe. I cooked the sausage in a cast iron skillet until it was a little scortched to add another layer of flavor. With the peppers and onions I added one clove of garlic, italian seasoning, onion and garlic powder, crushed red pepper flakes and black pepper. It was a hit!

Even better than I expected. I swapped out some onion powder for the onions (we don’t like chunks of onions) and just added a little crushed garlic. My wife loved it, as did I. This will be going on the regular play list.

A simple dish but so tasty. We served it over rice.

It turned out very well. I added a little garlic, white pepper, seasoned salt and some cayenne pepper. Plus I used both Romano and Parmesan cheeses to fix finish it off.

Kind of bland.

I think it would have been better without the parmesan cheese but a little more oregano. I did add some cut cooked potatoes, too.

Pretty tasty. I did need to saute the onions and pepper longer than 3 minutes (approximately 5-6).

We like it as written (with garlic), but this is a great start for using up any leftovers in your fridge/freezer. Our additions have included leftover plain pasta/cheese tortellini homemade tomato soup, mozzarella cheese, and fresh herbs.

I did tweak this a little and will be making this again. I added a tsp of minced garlic while sautéing the meat, used less olive oil, used yellow and red peppers since hubby doesn’t care for green, added some dried parsley and a tsp of cajun seasoning. Served over mashed potatoes.

Super easy, super yummy! Only had one green pepper (which was fine) used a yellow onion, only a small amount of oil and oregano. Can easily adjust to your preferences! Served over brown rice and sauteed some spinach for a side bc I needed to use it. Great quick, inexpensive, and easily adjustable family dinner!! thanks!

I made this exactly as the recipe is written. A light, fast and easy dinner on a cold night. Highly recommend.

This has become a staple in my house. We have it at least every other week if not every week. The only thing I have added is chunk pineapple and I usually do one of each color pepper. The pineapple puts a little sweet against the spicy and makes it wonderful. love this!

We live in Australia so we don’t have the same sausage brands here and the people I live with are Chinese. I served this recipe to them with rice and they loved it, definitely will repeat this recipe.

I added garlic and cayenne pepper.

Great, veggie-packed dinner. I only added a Tbs of minced garlic, instead of powder and a light sprinkling of red pepper flakes.
