  2. 1 cup medium diced onions
  3. 2 teaspoons chili powder
  4. 2 teaspoons garlic salt
  5. 2 teaspoons paprika
  6. 3 cups ketchup

Bring the sauce to a boil then reduce to a simmer and cook for 5 to 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
  2. Transfer the sauce to a blender or use an immersion blender and blitz, leaving some texture to the sauce. Fold in the remaining butter.

Like this sauce, however, it is very mustard forward. If you do not like the mustard intensity simply cut the amount of mustard in half. That will give you a rich tangy BBQ sauce that you will enjoy. The mustardyness is greatly reduced when it is on the food as opposed to tasting it alone.

Great BBQ sauce! I added 1 tsp garlic powder for extra flavor.
