It was so easy and absolutely delicious!!
I’m a butter fan but also EVOO. Did 1/2 1/2 . Also used parsley rosemary thyme and sage. The added herbs also add to gravy flavor. This is a pretty simple recipe I use every year now. I stuff with assorted bread cubes, sausage, and apple. Never let me down… don’t forget to rock the kitchen
The amount this makes would easily coat a bird twice the listed size. Also, not enough salt, even for a 12lb bird.
Like so many others have said, this was my first turkey. This recipe is absolutely amazing! It was easy, and the turkey turned out to be the best I had ever had. I’m going to use it for any time I want to roast a turkey.
I used this on a 6 pound turkey breast and it turned out fabulous. It was very juicy and tasty. I will definitely use this recipe the next tome I cook a turkey.
My husband loved this moist turkey! Thanks for a great recipe!
Very good, and easy to make. Will use this recipe again
Yes I made that roasted turkey for the Easter Sunday dinner not that anybody was here to eat it with myself and the dog but we both enjoyed it immensely.
Easy and delicious.
Family loved it, didn’t make my normal turkey because of diet changes for health. I’ll continue making this recipe it came out ver good, I also used a cooking bag and came out juicy and moist.
This was awesome flavoring! I made gravy from the turkey and it was delicious. I will be making this again. I did add 3 tbsp of butter to the seasoning mixture. Fabulous!
Excellent. Added butter and brushed it all over. This bird was perfectly seasoned! Will use this from now on.
Injected turkey with chicken broth, basted outside according to recipe, then cooked it with chicken broth instead of water. Turned out excellent!
Turkey was unanimously enjoyed. Every roaster is different so watch your coking time and compensate accordingly
I used 2 Tbsp poultry seasoning instead of the other spices and added 1 tbsp of Kosher Salt. Tented my Turkey for first half with foil then removed to get that perfect skin. Trust me, this recipe is amazing.
I didnt have olive oil so i used coconut oil. Lol…smelled good and tasted great. I love the recipe…thank you
My husband used thyme and rossemary and no sage. Yes, he will make it again.
Super moist and tasty
I made 3 changes. First I opted to use melted butter instead of oil. Second, instead of sage, I used poultry seasoning. The third and final change was chicken broth in place of the water. I will use this again if and when I have a turkey. Best turkey ever.
Excellent. Never made a turkey before until now and it came out so juicy. I used a thawed turkey about 10 pounds and cut an hour out of the cooking time and it was perfect. Very moist for turkey and flavorful!
This was my first time making a turkey and was super nervous making it. All the reviews gave me confidence so i gave it a try. This is a must try recipe! My family loved it even my father who makes comments on everything said it was good. I followed the recipe for my 18lb turkey with double the seasoning and instead of water, I used chicken broth. I also took off the foil 45 mins towards the end for the browning color. This recipe os a keeper!
