Delicious. Had to omit the plums because they are not in season yet. I’ll try it with the plums when I can get them. I’d also like to it try with some other combinations of fruits.
Made with all organic ingredients and stevia. will make decaf next time. Fabulous!!!
This is a great recipe! My three nephews and sisters loved this drink! I will keep this recipe for sure! It’s a really refreshing and has a wonderful subtle taste!
This is a unique recipe but it turned out well. My plums were not that sweet so I had to add more sugar but in the end it turned out well. I read some of the other reviews about using cold water but if you use Lipton tea bags like Sunny recommends you will have great tea flavor.
I loved this recipe and so did my “Labor Day” guests. A couple of them even commented that they didn’t like tea, but they loved this. They were so surprised by crisp, refreshing taste that it had. My suggestion is to start out by doubling the recipe. It’s only enough for 4 maybe. I did have to add a little more sugar than called for, but I think it was was my fruit wasn’t that sweet. I also used decaffeinated tea bags…still delicious! Go Sunny!
Great flavor.
This recipe I have served several times and each time it was a hit.make sure you dont put to much sugar, it will taste like a sugsr cane field. It is a great recipe
I have made this 4 different ways: hot, cold, w/orange rinds and w/just the zest of the orange, with the exact amount of sugar and w/only a 1/3c of sugar. The verdict….the best tea is: Sunny’s recipe but only put in the zest of one orange and only 1/3c of sugar. Everybody has different taste buds but this was perfect for us. Not too sweet, no bitterness from the orange rind and VERY smooth!
This was a very good suggestion for a quick and tasty drink for lunch or dinner.
thanks sunny
