Tons of radishes coming in out of the garden. Spinach as well. This recipe was super easy and tasty. I cooked it on my flattop griddle outside and served it alongside omelets
I had half a bunch of radishes that weren’t getting eaten, plus half a container of baby spinach, also not getting consumed. Thrilled to find this tasty and visually appealing dish. Used a shallot instead of red onion. Perfect amount for two as a side veg.
Delicious! I halved and thinly sliced the radishes and used a Vidalia onion in small slices. Since my spinach was overgrown, I coarsely sliced it and had to cook it a bit longer to become tender. All were sauteed in 3 T. butter and seasoned with Penzeys seasoned salt and Penzeys ground black pepper.
Surprisingly very good! The lemon I was skeptical about… Tried it and did like it, the flavors blend well. However I think I’d like to try it without the lemon next time. But overall excellent dish and I’m so appreciate of a ‘potato’ substitute besides cauliflower for a change
Delicious! I had them as my side dish with a poached egg and chicken breast, with a bit of butter. This would go well over pasta, too.
The lemon juice brings it all together! Absolutely loved this dish. So simple in prep but delivers 2 fold.
What a great surprise this recipe is. I’ve made it twice =in three days. I’ve always loved radishes, and was disappointed in only being used as a salad topping. This has made them one of my favorite root veggies of all time. Can’t wait to make them again tonight.
Love this dish it’s my new go to side dish especially when I want to use up left over radish and spinach before it goes bad.
I don’t like raw radishes but loved this dish. Followed suggestion of other review and added season salt and butter. We grew the radishes and spinach!
Wasn’t sure how it was going to taste. I added seasoning salts and butter. It was great.
