The day before payday, I tried to come up with something utilizing only the stuff I had on hand and came up with this. It turns out that everyone who tries it has become a fan. Additionally, you can change the ingredients to suit the preferences of your family and what you have in the kitchen. Enjoy!

The recipe has potential but needs a lot more seasoning than just 1/4 tsp of lemon pepper and a pinch of salt for this big ol’ pot of chowder.
Only took 4 hours for first step. I added 1 large clove minced garlic, 2 crisp bacon strips crumbled ,1 tsp thyme, lots of black pepper and a few dashes of white pepper, 1 tsp wostershire and 1 tsp hot sauce(tapito). I increased the flour a bit and a bit more potato flakes than asked for but not much. It is excellent! Next time. I will substitute one cup of chick broth for clam juice maybe.
Delicious I use lobster instead of shrimp
Turned out excellent. I added some Old Bay and extra cream. Good flavors!
Fabulous. Added small quantity of diced red peppers, 1/4 tsp Old Bay, and jumbo lump, crab meat for a sensational sea food chowder.
It’s good, but bland. 1/4 of a teaspoon of garlic pepper for the entire crock pot just didn’t cut it. I like the chowder, but I’m going to have to figure out how to add more flavor.
Came out great!!
I have made it 2 times now. Great seafood chowder but I like mine thicker I tried more flower in the leftovers the first time and it was an improvement. The second time I added about 1 tablespoon of cornstarch when I added the scallops and shrimp. I’ll add more cornstarch next time.
