soup was very good, instead of celery I added green beans at the end so they wouldn’t over cook and I also added a can of beef broth! will definitely make again

I first put 1 tablespoon of oil in the pot and sauted the onions 3 or 4 minutes until clear. Then I sauted the beef, etc. etc. It enhances the flavor of the onion. Otherwise, I followed the directions and it was very yummy – no leftovers!

I was skeptical, but the stew turned out great!

I’ve been making this soup for my kids for over 12 years. They are nearly grown men and still like it. Meets all the needs of a busy parent and most picky eaters

It was delicious! I added salt, pepper, and onion powder while I sauteed the ground beef and then used 2 1/2 cups of beef broth and 1 cup of water instead. It was a very hearty stew and perfect for a cold night!

This was delicious! I made small changes, using diced tomatoes and tomato sauce instead of tomato soup and black beans instead of pork and beans. I also added green beans and corn, and 3 beef bouillon cubes. The whole family enjoyed it!!

This was a great base recipe for Hamburger Soup. I added 2 cups more water, 3 carrots, 2, celery sticks and a handful of quartered baby potatoes. I left out the pork and beans entirely. I added sriracha sauce to my own personal bowls for a little extra heat. I’ll definitely make this again.

This was so amazingly easy to make! i made mine without potato simply because i was short on time. But it came out beautifully!! its light and not over powering flavors made my pallet sing! However one thing i did not like was the smell of the taco seasoning. Made my house smell like sweaty feet YUCK! but this defiantly tasted better than it smelled haha.

Great recipe! Did not change a thing! Followed as instructed and my whole family loved it. Served it with biscuits from a recipe from Allrecipes that also did not need any changing.

I made it exactly as written and I’m glad I doubled it because the leftovers are going to be so good. I, too, thought the beans with taco seasoning would be weird but it really works. It’s a great weeknight meal and I know we will be having it many times in the future.

I added turnip as well and this has been saved to make again!
