Reviews
Loved this! My only change was frozen peas instead of the green beans,
I cried when I ate it! I made plenty to go in the freezer! Love to my peeps!
Easy, bulk, and delicious! I was happy to try this given the reviews. It came it even more tasty than I expected. It was a quick hit. We used 1lb of lean ground beef instead and I cant say I tasted a difference.
Great stew! My family loved the flavor! I made a batch of corn bread with it and it was perfect.
So stinkin easy to make! I made this on a Sunday because I was under the weather. I will save it next time for a work day or a family get-together because it’s so easy and delicious! Thank you so much for this little gourmet gift!
I used most of all the ingredients the recipe called for, but made my own rendition with a little yellow bell pepper and a mixture of different seasonings to make the broth since I didn’t have any. Came in handy since kiddos had colds. Hope stew knows it right out of them.
Loved it, very delicious
My family loved it. Did use oregano instead of marjoram (half the requested measurement as recommended). It was very tasty. Perfect blend of spices and vegetables.
Excellent!
12/21 Used ground turkey, left out green beans, added celery and canned mushrooms
My kids like it!! I made some substitutions though. No onions so I used onion powder to the taste. Drained meat, used beef broth instead of beef base. Added extra cup, so 5 cups. 1.5cups of tomato sauce, I used jar of tomato, basil, and garlic. And used frozen green beans and added corn. I also added steak seasoning to meat to frying it. Frugal way to feed a family with a pound of ground beef. Delish!
This stew is absolutely perfect & it’s so simple to make. I’m the ‘cook’ in our home so I make a lot of meals and while I’ve only made this once, so far, I have actually been craving it, so we’re having it again tomorrow.
Easy. Very tasty. I didn’t have green beans, but I had mushrooms, so I used them instead. I used 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire Sauce. I didn’t have base so I threw in a beef bouillon cube. I needed to add a bit of extra water.
What a good way to stretch a pound of ground beef. It is delicious and there is enough to freeze for later. The only change I made was to add some celery with the onions and I added about a teaspoon of salt. So good!
Delicious! Great recipe! I didn’t have green beans so I used frozen peas and tossed in some mushrooms. Definitely will make this again.
Easy peasy and super tasty and hearty!
Excuse my pic! I’d already eaten half of it when I took the pic lol. It’s absolutely delicious! I am a huge instant pot cooker so I cooked it that way. I browned the meat, onions and garlic together & then drained. I tossed in the remaining ingredients in IP. I added a can of tomato paste bc I mistakenly opened that instead of the tomato sauce so I added both so it wouldn’t get wasted. I tossed in a can of rotel also bc it felt wrong making this without some type of tomato pieces. I added fresh carrots & potatoes but frozen green beans and corn. Frozen veggies tend to work better for pressure cooking so they don’t get too mushy. The corn isn’t in the recipe but my kids LOVE it so I tossed in about a cup. I did a 7 minute cook and a 15 minute natural release. The veggies definitely weren’t mush but next time I’ll probably cook for 5 minutes instead so they will be a little firmer. I added the flour mixture after cooking it. I got lots of compliments from my picky eaters.
Family loved it!
Easy to make, tastes great
Classic dish, family absolutely loved it!
Very flavorful! Didn’t modify anything. Will make again with different vegetables and chunkier burger pieces.
